‘Tis the season! The Chattahoochee Valley offers a myriad of events to help get you and your family into the holiday spirit. It’s a great time to see light displays, go to the theater or take in a concert, and who among us doesn’t love a parade? Get out your calendar, peruse our holiday guide and schedule some festive family fun!

Night of Lights ~ Phenix City celebrates the season. Watch as Santa flips the switch to light up the Riverwalk. See the Amphitheater decked out with beautiful holiday decorations and a giant Christmas tree. Beginning at 6 p.m. enjoy some hot chocolate and the annual Christmas production of local performers, dancing and singing to favorite holiday tunes, and a finale of holiday fireworks. Broadway Holiday ~
bring the family to the ceremonial lighting of Columbus’ 40-foot tree in the 1100 block of Broadway from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Choirs will herald the season alongside a visit from Santa and his reindeer. Info:cclark@columbusga.org or 706.322.1613

A Skaggs Family Christmas ~

Westville by Candlelight ~

Hear your holiday favorites played by local tuba and euphonium enthusiasts conducted by Dr. George Corradino. At 1 p.m. in Macy’s Court at Peachtree Mall.

-7 Victorian Holiday Open House ~
Port Columbus’ Civil War era Christmas event. The entire museum will be decorated in the 1860s holiday fashion. Special Civil War Santa will visit and take photos with the children. A Cherish the Ladies’ Christmas ~
Let the world-renowned Celtic ensemble Cherish the Ladies start off your holiday celebration with joy. At the RiverCenter at 7:30 p.m. Come early and watch Santa travel down Broadway on a fire truck to magically light up RiverCenter. Bi-City Christmas Parade ~

-30 Fantasy In Lights ~
Since 1992, this outdoor light and sound show at Callaway Gardens has glittered with holiday magic for millions of people. 22,000 square feet of warmth and merriment at Callaway Gardens, open at noon daily.
